 MTGinktober gets trauma dumps on Day 9, "Heavy," starring Liliana, Heretical Healer!  

 Speaking of shattering glass, I had to break the emergency glass and take an extra hour of sleep cuz I was feeling just exhausted.  Fortunately I suspected today would be lighter day, including a mercifully detail-light costume--often the most intensive part.  I didn't want to draw a big guy or anything so obvious, and while it woulda been cool to go with my first idea of a "heavy" rock band, I did just draw a trio of goths, so I just went with Lil'iana realizing what she's done, which has the benefit of enabling a lighter day, so I can recover a bit.  

 Fun Facts: This is Liliana Vess's eleventh overall MTGinktober appearance, definitely up there, but it's also Lil'iana's sixth appearance, and further, it's the character's second time being fully traumatized, once at each age.  Neat.  This is also The Raven Man's third appearance--note he first appeared before he ever even had a card, a rare feat.  Also, I got to use my rarely used white gel pen, as well as trying out a different one for the lovely star effect, which I love to do, time permitting.  

 Easter Eggs: Indeed, we can see The Raven Man lurkin' in the background, and the background as well as bottle design come from Tainted Remedy.
